Get to know
Pastor Adedayo Adeboye came to faith in Christ in 1995 through the Anglican Church, where he quickly got involved by serving as a teacher in the children’s and youth departments. He also taught Bible classes for young adults and led the young adults’ fellowship in his local parish. On August 15, 1999, the Lord spoke clearly to him about His call on his life and gave him a specific mandate for ministry.
In college, Pastor Adeboye served as Secretary-General and later as Prayer Secretary of the Campus Christian Fellowship (ASF). It was during this time that he met his wife and began to gain a deeper sense of God’s plan for their lives and ministry together.
After moving to the United States, God continued to prepare him for ministry through different opportunities to serve in local churches. Over the years, he has served as a Bible study teacher, Sunday school teacher, youth group leader, youth prayer band leader, church administrator, and minister in a Pentecostal church. Each of these roles helped to shape his heart for teaching, leadership, and discipleship.
By profession, Pastor Adeboye is a physician. He enjoys teaching and mentoring young physicians, and he also finds great joy in coaching and walking alongside young men as they pursue God’s purpose for their lives.
In 2022, following a clear leading from the Lord, he and his wife started a Bible study group in Germantown, TN. That group has since grown into Grace Tabernacle International Church (GTIC), where he now serves as Senior Pastor alongside his family, helping to build a Christ-centered, Spirit-led community of faith.
Pastor Adeleye Adeboye was born and raised in a Muslim home, yet from an early age, she carried a deep hunger to know God and honor Him in every way she could. She encountered Christ as a young girl and chose to follow Him wholeheartedly, even when it meant enduring the persecution that came with her decision.
Her service journey began at Upper Room Baptist Church in Lagos, Nigeria, where she committed herself to various ministries, including the choir and the prayer group, before heading to college.
During her college years, Pastor Adeleye served as a leader in her Campus Christian Fellowship for two years. It was during this season that she met her husband and began to gain a clearer understanding of the joint calling God had placed on their lives.
After moving to the United States to join her husband, she continued serving in ministry and became the Women’s Fellowship Leader at their local church. She is the convener of WEROR, an annual women’s retreat in Memphis, TN, and the pioneer leader of Well-Rounded Women (WeRoW) and Well-Rounded Ladies (WeRoL)—a purpose-driven platform with a divine mandate to raise grounded, godly, and mission-minded single and married women for the Lord.
In obedience to God’s leading, Pastor Adeleye, along with her husband and family, launched a Bible study group in Germantown, TN. That gathering has since grown into Grace Tabernacle International Church (GTIC), where she now faithfully serves as Co-Pastor, laboring alongside her husband to fulfill God’s vision.
